Hello hello! I'm Hanna, owner & lead planner of Hanna Marie Events and your Minnesota Wedding Planner! (but also Wisconsin, and anywhere you want me to travel to!)
With an eye for detail and a love for thoughtful design, my passion for planning began long before this became my career. After several years in Human Resources, including serving as a Human Resources Specialist in the Army National Guard, I found myself craving a more meaningful, creative path - one rooted in connection, celebration and purpose. In 2021, Hanna Marie Events was born, and after two and a half years of growing the business alongside an incredible team, I stepped away form my corporate career to pursue HME full-time.
Today, I have the honor of designing and producing weddings that are not only beautifully executed, but deeply personal. I am endlessly grateful to the couples who trust us with their most meaningful moments and to the team who brings each vision to life with care and intention. This work is a dream I never take for granted!
At the heart of my approach is connection. My favorite part of the planning process is truly getting to know each couple & not just the wedding we're creating, but who you are individually and together. Because the most memorable celebrations are the ones that feel authentically you!

Our team is made up of passionate lead coordinators and assistant coordinators who are dedicated to making your day magical + stress free!
Rachel is our OG employee and has been on the team since 2022! She originally hired Hanna to coordinate her own wedding in 2023, and shortly after, noticed Hanna was looking for wedding day assistance. Rachel joined the team as an assistant coordinator and after just a few month, stepped into a behind-the-scenes role as well with supporting the business with administrative work and day-to-day operations. In 2023 she was promoted to lead planner and has been apart of many wedding celebrations since then. Rachel graduated in 2021 from Concordia University-St Paul with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and works as. Physical Therapist in her full time job.

Brooke joined the HME team in 2023 as an Assistant Coordinator and was promoted to Lead Planner in 2024 after becoming an essential part of the team and the wedding day. Brooke graduated from UW- La Crosse in 2020 and has been working as a Senior Events Manager at MN Adult & Teen Challenge. Brooke has a 4 year old pup named Stanley who brings such joy to her life! Brooke got engaged to the love of her life, Dillon, in 2024 and will be stepping into the role of BRIDE in 2026. We cannot wait to celebrate with them & watch their wedding vision come to life!

Kalen joined the Hanna Marie Events team in 2024 after wanting to step back into the wedding world. She had previously worked for other wedding planners several years prior but had to take a step back to focus on her career. Kalen graduated from St Cloud University with a Bachelor of Arts and has been working as a manager for social events with metroConnections for the past few years. Kalen recently got married to her husband Vinnie in 2025 and has a pup named Leo who they adore with all their heart!

Kaylee joined the HME team in 2023 after having Hanna coordinate her own wedding! She loved planning her wedding and wanted to cure the post wedding blues with assisting with them :) Kaylee graduated from University of Minnesota Duluth in in 2020 and has been working as a teacher since then. She has two pups that she loves more than anything, and can be seen at Target and HomeGoods on the weekend! If you ever see Kaylee at a wedding, be sure to ask her how many Christmas Trees she has :)

Roxy joined the Hanna Marie Events team in 2024 after having Hanna coordinate her own wedding! Like Kaylee, she also loved planning her wedding and wasn't ready to quite say goodbye to weddings so she stepped into the role of Assistant Coordinator! Roxy graduated from University of North Dakota with a Masters of Occupational Therapy and has been working as a Occupational Therapist at Gillette Children's. Roxy & her husband Zach welcome their first child in the fall of 2025!

Abby joined the HME team in 2024 after Hanna did content creation for her wedding! She assisted with a few weddings prior to her own wedding and then joined the team officially shortly after. Abby graduated from University of Iowa with a Bachelor's in Health & Human Physiology and has been working as a Senior Quality Control Specialist. Abby and her husband Jacob welcomed their daughter in December of 2025!

When I started to plan my wedding, I knew I wanted to hand off my planning and vision to someone else on my wedding day and let them execute every detail. Hanna did exactly that and SO. MUCH. MORE. From the to-do lists she sent throughout our engagement to keep us on track, to answering questions well before she took over vendor communications, she felt less like a coordinator and more like a co-planner. Come our wedding day, I knew everything was in great hands and she made sure I stopped worrying about the details. She's thoughtful, passionate, fun, and dedicated to making your dream day become a reality. She's not just a wedding vendor, she's now a friend.
My husband and I worked with Hanna for Day of Coordination for our r wedding. Her bimonthly checklists in the 12 month lead up to our wedding were so helpful to stay on track! Hanna is INCREDIBLY responsive and goes so far above and beyond for her clients--it is truly amazing and so sweet. She cares SO MUCH about the work she does and it shows. Brooke was my lead coordinator on the day and she did a fantastic job! If anything went wrong I had no idea (which is how it should be!). We had a very tight set up time at the venue and Brooke and her team tackled it like champs. If you are looking for a Day of Coordinator, I cannot recommend Hanna and her team highly enough!
From day one, Hanna was there for us every step of the way with her expertise and support, as well as providing amazing and helpful budget and guest trackers among other helpful tools in her portal for an organized/planner person myself. Hanna was always professional, down-to-earth, kind, and supportive while planning and she truly eased so much of the stress that comes with wedding planning. Her presence alone helped to calm my nerves but she also made sure there were no hiccups (at least none that I was aware of which is what counts!) She took care of communicating with all the vendors and was truly a rockstar throughout the whole day. I'm 100% confident that our wedding and planning process wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without her, and I whole heartedly believe she's the BEST option around for these services.
