HEY! I'm Hanna, your Minnesota Wedding Planner! (but also Wisconsin, and anywhere you want me to travel to!) I'm a swiftie, taco lover + dog mama to the 4 most precious pups ever.
Like most wedding planners who started their business, I've always loved planning anything and everything since I was a little girl! After working in Human Resources for several years (including my time in the army national guard as human resources specialist) and feeling like I was "stuck" and wanting more, I took the leap to start Hanna Marie Events in 2021. After 2 1/2 years, a whole lotta hard work, dedication & long days, I put my notice in for my full time HR job to pursue HME full time! I truly am so grateful for all the couples who have chosen HME so far and my amazing team who has worked alongside me - couldn't have done it without any of you! Believe me when I say I'm living my dream every single day & I'll never forget that :)
My favorite part of the wedding planning process is truly getting to know each couple personally. It's not just about the wedding we're planning, but it's about you two individually and what makes you, YOU!

I was on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, but I am SO glad that I hired Hanna! "I cannot recommend this team enough. My expectation when hiring a “day-of coordinator” was to have someone who would keep things organized on our wedding day and help us stick to our timeline. Hanna Marie Events were partners throughout our entire year-long planning process. They were very prompt and responsive with communication, provided a full toolkit of extremely helpful planning resources, and had one of a kind personal touches like sending us thoughtful little self-care gifts while we were in the thick of our stressful planning time. On our actual wedding day, our coordinator Brooke was our go-to person for everything and knowing that she was there to take care of any little hiccups allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our special day to the fullest. The whole HME team was so calm and collected, if anything did go wrong at our wedding, I had no idea! We had SO many guests and our wedding party tell us how impressed they were with the decor setup, how smoothly the day ran, and how efficient tear-down was at the end of the night.
