HEY! I'm Hanna, your Minnesota Wedding Planner! (but also Wisconsin, and anywhere you want me to travel to!) I'm a swiftie, taco lover + dog mama to the 4 most precious pups ever.
Like most wedding planners who started their business, I've always loved planning anything and everything since I was a little girl! After working in Human Resources for several years (including my time in the army national guard as human resources specialist) and feeling like I was "stuck" and wanting more, I took the leap to start Hanna Marie Events in 2021. After 2 1/2 years, a whole lotta hard work, dedication & long days, I put my notice in for my full time HR job to pursue HME full time! I truly am so grateful for all the couples who have chosen HME so far and my amazing team who has worked alongside me - couldn't have done it without any of you! Believe me when I say I'm living my dream every single day & I'll never forget that :)

Brooke B was our lead coordinator for our wedding day. I was so taken care of as Brooke always checked in with me, communicated with our vendors as they arrived to the venue, kept me calm, brought me food and water, and literally moved mountains to make sure I had the best day. These girls are truly amazing and I am so lucky to have had them on wedding day!!
We had the BEST experience with Hanna Marie Events. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, look no further! Booking HME for wedding coordination was the best decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish Hanna was so wonderful to work with. She is so thoughtful and sweet; numerous times throughout the year since booking with her she sent us cards and care packages! Hanna is also very organized, and her communication was excellent. Her online portal was so helpful and her monthly to-do lists kept us on track.
On wedding day, Rachel, was our lead coordinator; she was so awesome!! We were so lucky to have her there to make sure everything stayed on time, to queue our wedding party down the aisle, setting up decor, and so so much more!! We also had two assistant coordinators there, they too were a huge help with everything. I can’t thank them enough for all the pictures and videos they took on their phones. It was so nice to have photos and videos before getting them back from our photographer. They also captured many moments I missed at the wedding.
Hanna and her team are so amazing. Our wedding was perfect thanks to them, truly couldn’t have done it without them! I am pretty type A, but even on wedding day I was so calm because I knew HME was going to take care of everything. Peace of mind on your wedding day is truly priceless.
