Pinewood, located in the quaint town of Cambridge Minnesota, was the perfect venue for Maya and Alex to have their August wedding at.

Maya and Alex are by far two of the nicest, most down to earth couples we have worked with! From moving across the US during the wedding planning and Maya still attending grad school, their wedding planning was a bit more stressful than others. But, they persevered and were still one of the most organized couples we have worked with. Even though we told Maya we had all of the timeline, decor info, etc printed out – she still provided us with a binder packed full of information on the wedding day 🙂 I guess it shouldn’t have surprised me! THE VENUE

Pinewood is a perfect location for couples that want to have a tranquil outdoor wedding surrounded by beautiful scenery. The venue is situated on private land that has a vast open area for parking and reception, while still being tucked away in a secluded and romantic location. This feature provides couples with not only the opportunity for a beautiful ceremony but a great party experience with ample space for everybody.

THE WEATHER

August often presents hazy, hot, and humid atmospheres that can potentially ruin outdoor events. However, the weather truly could not have been more perfect for Maya and Alex!. The temperature was just right keeping guests cool and relaxed. The weather was ideal for taking stunning wedding photos and allowed their guests to fully enjoy the outdoor setting without any discomfort. There was a littttttle ran shortly into cocktail hour so everyone had to head inside, but it didn’t last long! Plus rain on your wedding day is good luck, right? 🙂

THE DECOR

Maya and Alex chose to keep their decor simple with greenery, floating candles, and black and white signage. Maya and Alex’s color scheme consisted of earthy and neutral tones, which gave an upscale allure to their wedding while still keeping it within the beauty of nature.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place outside in the pinewoods. The location was simply stunning and provided such a beautiful backdrop to their special moment. Their dog, Theo, stole the show with the help of Becca’s MN Pet Care attendant taking care of all of his needs!
