Taylor & Sam had the most stunning La Pointe Events Wedding!

The Engagement

Sam & Taylor got engaged while on a trip to California! Taylor had suspicions it would happen on the trip but not on the first day! Sam proposed on Baker Beach with the Golden Gate bridge in the background. He even had a photographer and a fancy dinner booked after! They were then able to celebrate for the rest of the trip in Napa.

The Venue

Taylor & Sam chose La Pointe Events which was the perfect blank canvas venue for their modern white and black wedding! La Pointe Events is located on 40 acres in Somerset, Wisconsin – just a short trip to the twin cities. They have in house catering and bar which is two less vendors you have to find yourselves! They have two getting ready spaces on site as well as a beautiful ceremony area that is on the river! La Pointe Events also offers 21 cabins on site for guests to rent out.

The Wedding

Taylor & Sam wanted a modern, black and white wedding and La Pointe Events was the perfect venue for that. They went with candles, bud vases and black cheesecloths for their reception tables to keep it simple yet elegant. They did all of the floral themselves and it turned out STUNNING! The bride’s sister was also the photographer (who hired an associate for the day) and helped with all of the florals.

Our Services

Sam & Taylor felt comfortable with booking all of their vendors and doing all of the planning, but they really wanted someone on the day of the wedding to help ensure all of their plans came together. They wanted to be sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was having a good time! They went with our wedding management package where we had a few meetings with them leading up to the wedding day to create a timeline, go over their decor set up details, and ensure we have all the information needed to execute their day perfectly!

We absolutely loved working with Taylor & Sam, truly two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! Congrats to the new Mr + Mrs!!!!
