Reeds & Rushes Wedding in Howard Lake, Minnesota
Emily & Alex’s Reeds & Rushes wedding took place on one of the most beautiful summer days! Reeds and Rushes is a newer venue, about 45 minutes west of the twin cities. It is a lakeside property sitting on five and a half acres, with plenty of room for wedding festivities! Reeds and Rushes is a versatile venue, with large ceilings and plenty of natural light. The space is great for many different types of decor and themes. As a wedding planner, my favorite part is the fireside room where it not only acts as a backup ceremony option, but as the cocktail hour space as a transition into dinner.
Alex & Emily got engaged in November of 2022 and knew that they didn’t want a long engagement, so they started planning for their 2023 wedding! With Reeds and Rushes being a newer venue, they still had plenty of availability and Emily and Alex quickly snagged an August date.
Our Services
When they inquired with us they were looking for someone who could guide them on where to be and when to be on their wedding day. They wanted their wedding day to be as smooth as possible and to handle all of the vendors. Emily & Alex went with our wedding management package which was perfect for them! They worked with our lead coordinator, Rachel, who handled all the timeline and vendor aspects before and on the wedding day.

“Hanna and her team were instrumental to our big day in August. We hosted roughly 100 guests with an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, and they handled it like it was no problem at all. We even had a couple of guests who did not RSVP show up and a wardrobe malfunction with a groomsmen, but they kept everyone informed and took a lot of stress off of my wife. What a blessing! Do yourself a favor and hire them. They are thorough and so professional. Simply the best.”
