Sam & Alex had a gorgeous wedding at The Beach Club in Minneapolis, MN!

THE ENGAGEMENT

Alex first took Sam on a horse and carriage ride through downtown Minneapolis (which is the same way that Sam’s parents got engaged). The carriage took them down by the Mississippi river and then they got out of the carriage and walked out to a private drive where Alex proposed to Sam! Alex’s sister was hiding in the woods taking pictures and then they rode the carriage back to the restaurant Maison Margaux for celebratory champagne. Afterwards they went to Sam’s parents’ house where Alex had planned a surprise party with their family & friends!

THE VENUE

The Beach Club wedding venue in Minneapolis is an elegant, historic venue located right across from Lake Bde Maka Ska. The venue blends classic architecture with a light, airy lakeside atmosphere which gives couples the best of both timeless charm and natural beauty.

Inside the venue are stunning windows, high ceiling and a sweeping staircase that creates a stunning backdrop for ceremonies. The ballroom feels sophisticated but warm, with plenty of natural light during the day. Outside on the patio is where the cocktail hour is typically held, and it also makes for a gorgeous location for sunset photos.

THE WEDDING

Sam & Alex wanted a very classic, timeless & elegant wedding. They wanted neutral colors with white/ivory flowers and greenery. Their top priorities were great music, gorgeous flowers/table settings and seamless transitions throughout the night. Overall they wanted to ensure that everyone, including themselves, had a great time!

OUR SERVICES

When Sam & Alex inquired for their wedding at The Beach Club Wedding venue, they wanted someone who was kind, fun, organized and experienced when it came to making weddings flow smoothly! They wanted to be fully present on their big day, and wanted someone else who could be the main point of contact, execute their vision/decor plans, and make decisions on their behalf as they saw fit.

Sam & Alex went with our wedding management package which was perfect for them as they continued to do all the planning themselves, but then we stepped in to start working with them the last few weeks of the wedding! We had our first meeting 8 weeks out where we went over all the wedding details, created a timeline, chatted through set up/tear down for decor and then also contacted all of their vendors! On the day of the wedding we were on site to ensure everything ran smoothly from set up to tear down. We also managed the vendors, communicated with vendors and set up/tore down their personal decor.

Sam & Alex had a beautiful wedding at The Beach Club wedding venue and we were so honored to have been a part of it!
