Landmark Center Wedding in St Paul, Minnesota
Tara & Kai’s Landmark Center Wedding was a beautiful day full of intentional moments. They truly made their wedding day their own and not following the “traditional” wedding day elements!
The Engagement
Tara and Kai were fortunate enough to be gifted Kai’s grandmother’s ring, which they used to design a custom engagement ring together. So, Tara knew that a proposal was coming, but didn’t know when. Kai decided to propose while visiting Tara’s family in Pennsylvania for Christmas in December 2022.
While finishing some last minute shopping at Peddler’s Village (a quaint, colonial shopping area with lots of Christmas decorations), Kai looked for a good spot to pop the question. Before leaving, Tara wanted to take a photo near the big Christmas tree inside the gazebo at the center of the village, but Kai suggested they wait in line to get a photo at a prime location right up front (suspicious, since he’s general not a fan of photos!)
When it was their turn, instead of posing for the photos, Kai got down on one knee and asked Tara to marry him. She said yes, and the crowed of strangers surrounding them clapped and cheered!
Our Services
When Tara and Kai inquired with us about their Landmark Center wedding, they really were looking for someone execute their day-of plan, communicate with vendors, manage the timeline and be the point of contact during the day. To them, they didn’t see their wedding as a time to “put on a show” but to spend time with/celebrate with the people they love, which a lot of were traveling from out of state.
They kept their decor minimal as the Landmark Center is already a beautiful venue in itself!
