Well hey there! We are Hanna Marie Events (HME), a Minneapolis, Minnesota, wedding planning team made up of passionate lead and assistant coordinators! We recently got new photos done and thought this would be a great time to introduce everyone! Read on to meet the HME team. 🙂

Hanna – Owner + Lead Planner
Up first is me, Hanna! I’m the owner & lead planner of Hanna Marie Events. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this business since day one! I started this business for “fun” in September of 2021 and it quickly turned into so much more. After a little over 2 years in business, I was able to leave my HR job to pursue wedding planning & content creation full time! I’ve been so blessed & grateful to work with the most incredible couples & vendors and am so excited to see what’s in store for the years ahead! I’m so excited to have you meet the HME team today. 🙂
Rachel – Lead Coordinator + Admin Assistant
Meet Rachel, the first ever employee of Hanna Marie Events! Rachel joined the team shortly after booking HME as her wedding coordinator. She does so much more than just the wedding day itself; she helps a TON behind the scenes with admin work, blogs, onboarding – you name it! She is a full time Physical Therapist and is one of the most organized, Type A people you’ll ever meet. I always say she will organize your decor at the end of the night better than how you had it to start. 🙂
Brooke – Lead Coordinator
Next is Brooke! Brooke joined the team in 2023 as an assistant coordinator and after doing a dozen or so weddings, took the next step to do weddings on her own as a lead coordinator! Brooke does planning for non-profit events in her full time job so planning and coordinating is nothing new to her! Brooke recently got engaged and is planning her own wedding which we cannot WAIT to be a part of.
Kalen – Lead Coordinator
Unfortunately, Kalen was sick for our team photos so we are using a similar looking photo of her instead. 🙂 Kalen has done dozens of weddings for other wedding planning companies in the Minneapolis area, so she is not new to wedding planning by any means! She is also planning for her wedding right now (which is coming up SO soon!!!). Kalen also does planning in her full time job and stepped easily into the assistant coordinator position. After doing a few weddings with us (and many more previously with other wedding planning companies), we knew she was ready for the lead coordinator position!
Kaylee – Assistant Coordinator
Kaylee was a July 2023 bride with HME and absolutely loved wedding planning. After her wedding was over, she inquired about assisting with weddings (we may have actually talked about this on the day of her wedding too, haha) and a few months later she was helping out! She has assisted dozens of weddings since then (including leading one wedding too) and loves being a part of the wedding day!
Roxy – Assistant Coordinator
Roxy got married July 2024 at The Whim and had an absolutely STUNNING wedding! After a few months, we posted we were looking for some extra hands at fall weddings and Roxy inquired! She is an Occupational Therapist during the week but loved everything about planning her wedding. She is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and truly loves doing everything she can to make a couples day’ the best day ever!
Abby – Assistant Coordinator
Abby got married in October of 2024 at the glass house and had booked HME for content creation! After her wedding, she had also seen us posting about needing extra assistance and at first it was just a wedding here or there, but this year she decided to join the team officially part time. She has stepped into weddings so flawlessly and is your ultimate hype girl!
Mattie – Assistant Coordinator
Mattie got married in 2024 and after her wedding was over she found the assistant coordinator posting with HME and applied! She was looking for something part time to do on the weekends and this was the perfect spot for her. She is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet!
Emily – Assistant Coordinator
Emily got married in October of 2024 at Royal Golf Club (one of our favorite venues!) and had booked us for coordination! Her wedding was absolutely beautiful and she loved wedding planning. As soon as it was over, even while she was still on her honeymoon, she inquired about assisting with weddings! Emily is an Occupational Therapist during the week and was looking for something extra to do Friday-Sunday, so this was the perfect fit for her!
Melissa – Assistant Coordinator
Melissa works with Kaylee as a teacher and Kaylee knew that Melissa would be great for this position so she referred her! She started helping with weddings in 2024 and then officially joined the team in 2025. She is one of the most hard working individuals you’ll ever meet and we’re so happy to have her on the team!
Tina – Assistant Coordinator
Tina and Hanna actually went to elementary school together, lived in the same neighborhood, and have remained Facebook friends all these years! When Hanna posted she was looking for extra assistance in 2023, Tina applied. She has the cutest son ever, was looking for something part time, and this position was a great fit!
Sarah – Assistant Coordinator
Sarah was unable to make our team photos BUT we have her photo from the previous set of team photos! Sarah was actually in Kaylee’s wedding in 2023, and then shortly after the wedding ended she inquired with HME about coordination services. Sarah is also a teacher so she was looking for something more to do during the summer. Her wedding at Mayowood Stone Barn was stunning in July of 2024, and she was assisting with weddings before and after her own wedding!
Brooke – Assistant Coordinator
Brooke was also unable to make team photos but we have her photo from a previous set of team photos! Brooke joined the team at the end of 2023 after looking for something very part time to do. She has loved being a part of a couples special day and is such a sweet person!!
