Royal Golf Club Wedding in Lake Elmo, Minnesota

Allie & Erik’s Royal Golf Club wedding was by far one of my favorite weddings to date! Not just because the decor and flowers were stunning, but also because Allie & Erik are by far two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met!

THE ENGAGEMENT

Allie & Erik are high school sweethearts and Erik finally proposed to Allie in June of 2022. Allie is a fitness instructor at Lifetime and a friend of hers from there reached out asking if she’d like to take a photoshoot for her brand in Downtown Wayzata with a few of her girlfriends. Of course Allie said yes! So the day of the shoot, they all met in downtown Wayzata and started taking pictures. Lily, who was the photographer and also ended up being their wedding photographer, asked if they wanted to go to a new location. ]

She also suggested some of the girls go back to the car and get a few props, so all the girls “walked” back to the car and Allie + Lily walked to the shoreline. After about a 10 minute walk, Allie saw a beautiful set up proposal spot right on Wayzata beach. It was a magical moment and Allie will forever be blown away by it! Allie & Erik then went to lunch and afterwards headed to his parents house where 60 of their friends and family were waiting to surprise them. The story doesn’t end there! THE THEME

Allie & Erik’s three must haves for their wedding were good music, amazing florals and an open bar! They wanted a classic, yet formal wedding, and their dream team of vendors was able to do just that. The Royal Club has an atmosphere that is both luxurious and romantic, and was the perfect setting for Allie & Erik’s special day. The venue was adorned with a timeless black and white theme, with an added touch of elegance to the entire event.

THE ATTIRE

Allie went with a stunning sleek dress from Annika Bridal, with her veil from Pnina Tornai. The girls were in stunning black dresses from Birdy Grey and the guys in suits from Atmosfere. Erik opted for a suit from Suit Supply.

THE DECOR

The decor was simply breathtaking – Allie sure does have an eye for this! There were fresh flowers consisting of babies breath, roses and greenery throughout the reception hall and ceremony space. The wedding cake was a classic white cake on a black cake stand with babies breath surrounding it.
