Morgan & Coltan had a stunning West Creek Event Center Wedding! They truly had the best weather and an awesome vendor team!
The Engagement
Morgan and Coltan were high school sweethearts – in fact they got engaged on their 8 year dating anniversary! HOW SWEET IS THAT!!! On the day of their engagement, they took a road trip to Oregon and on the first day they got there they hiked up Neahkahnie Mountain, which was one of their very favorite places. When they reached the summit, the sun was shining and they could see the whole Oregon coast. After looking around for a minute or two, Morgan turned around and Coltan was on one knee!
The Venue
Morgan & Coltan knew they wanted to get married somewhere in the Eau Claire area and they knew after touring a few places that West Creek Event Center was the venue for them! Located in southern Eau Claire, this recently remodeled event center is ideal for an occasion as it can accommodate 300+ people! The building first started as a barn in the 1800’s and was later remodeled into a bar in the 1940’s. The venue offers a large, open concept space with a spacious getting ready suite. There is also a very spacious outdoor area, perfect for a ceremony or cocktail hour with yard games!
The Wedding Day
Morgan and Coltan went with a terracotta/rust theme, which turned out absolutely stunning especially with florals from Fersk Floral Artistry! They chose to rent most of their decor from Sweet Legacy, which had so many decor pieces that matched their theme. They overall wanted to have a rustic feel, but didn’t want it to be too over the top!
Our Services
Morgan & Coltan booked us over a year and a half out from their wedding day and went with our partial planning package. Our packages have changed a little bit since they booked, but we offered more planning help then we typically would with our wedding management package. We went with them to Sweet Legacy to pick our rentals, put together a design mood board, met with them a few extra times before the wedding day, created a timeline and coordinated their wedding day!
Morgan + Coltan are by far two of the sweetest people you’ll EVER meet. They are so pure and kind, and will truly do whatever they can for the people we love. I will miss working with them so much but am so excited for them on this next chapter of their lives MARRIED!

From day one Hanna was there for us every step of the way with her expertise and support, as well as providing amazing and helpful budget and guest trackers among other helpful tools in her portal for an organized/planner person myself. Hanna was always professional, down-to-earth, kind, and supportive while planning and she truly eased so much of the stress that comes with wedding planning.
As if we didn’t already get our money’s worth, Hanna went above and beyond when it came to our actual wedding day. Her presence alone helped to calm my nerves but she also made sure there were no hiccups (at least none that I was aware of which is what counts!) She took care of communicating with all the vendors and was truly a rockstar throughout the whole day. Additionally, though we didn’t hire Hanna for content creation, she still provided us with hundreds of behind-the-scenes videos and photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. She captured so many special moments that otherwise would’ve been just memories, and we are so grateful.
There’s so much more I could talk about to sing Hanna’s praises, but one last thing I’ll mention are her sweet and thoughtful gifts and cards that she sends to her clients (even on my birthday, totally un-wedding related). This truly was the icing on the cake and is yet another display of Hanna’s caring and thoughtful spirit. Long story short, if you are even considering a planner, day of coordinator, content creator, etc. I cannot recommend Hanna enough. I’m 100% confident that our wedding and planning process wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without her, and I whole heartedly believe she’s the BEST option around for these services.
