Coty & Caitlin had a beautiful fall Eau Claire Wedding!
The Wedding
Coty & Caitlin were one of the last of their friends to get married and they wanted to combine all the good things from each wedding into more of a non-traditional wedding.
One of their first priorities was the food and drinks. They wanted to be sure they had both served at all times including appetizers, dinner, dessert and late night snacks. Basically, they wanted the smell of food in the air at all times! Their next priority was having an outdoor reception with yard games, self serve wine/beer, and lots of hanging bulb lights where the dance would be.
After looking at all of their priorities, they decided having their wedding at the airbnb that they owned next door would be the best option! This would provide the most flexibility with food/drinks/decor and would better facilitate a non-traditional wedding atmosphere.
Our Services
Once Coty & Caitlin knew that their Eau Claire Wedding would be at their airbnb, they decided they needed to hire a wedding planner to help with all of the planning! When they booked us for full planning, they were about to have their 2nd child so their time would be limited. We had a little over a year to plan their special day and, while it was a lot more work, it was also a lot more fun planning a non-traditional wedding!
With not having traditional venue/bar staff at their wedding, we had to be sure we hired some of the absolute best vendors to bring their day together. With our full planning services, we researched and sourced all of the major vendors including photography, catering, bar, rentals, florals and more!
We also helped them with the design piece and making sure it fit their vision of a fall wedding. We opted for a food truck for their dinner from Smokestream, and a food truck for their late night snack from Fire Truck Pizza. We also had Olson’s Ice Cream, Crumbl Cookie and Hyvee appetizers, so there was no shortage of food!
The day before their wedding we were there to assist with vendors in setup and being sure everything was exactly where it belonged. On the day of their wedding, we were on site all day to connect with vendors as they arrived, keep the timeline on track, and overall be sure the flow of the day was exactly as discussed.
It was an absolute dream working with Coty & Caitlin on their Eau Claire Wedding!
