The Venue
The Whim is truly an elegant and timeless venue. We’ve had a few weddings here now and each one has been so different from one another. The space is so versatile and there’s many different designs and layouts you can do here! Room flips can be frowned upon at venues, but doing room flips at The Whim is a seamless experience. Their staff is professional & attentive and always willing to help out when needed!
The venue has two different getting ready spaces which of course we love. Having ample amount of room to get ready, hang out with your wedding party, and not stress about moving locations is the best! The venue also features an outside patio area which is great for pictures and cocktail hour. The main event space has 14 foot ceilings and always looks stunning with the string lights!
The Wedding
For Jalen & Ben’s wedding at The Whim, they really wanted to focus the day on the people around them. They didn’t need super fancy decor or over the top florals, they truly wanted their guests to all have a fun time. They went for a classic, timeless wedding with lots and lots of candles for their decor. They got light blue napkins from Linen Effects which was the perfect pop of color for the space. The bridesmaids were in black dresses and the guys were in black suits. Jalen, her mom and sisters did the flowers themselves and used babies breath and white roses.
Our Services
Jalen and Ben wanted their day to be completely stress free. They wanted a coordinator who can help put their vision together the day of, communicate with vendors, and keep the timeline on track. They went with our wedding management package and we started working with them a few months prior to tie up all the lose ends! On the day of the wedding, we set up and tore down all their decor so they didn’t have to lift a finger.
