Dani & Ryan had a stunning Nicollet Island Pavilion wedding! They chose to have a brunch wedding on a Sunday which was so so fun and unique!
The Engagement
Dani and Ryan knew they were the one for each other early on in their relationship and they got engaged after 6 months of dating! It all started with a bet (that Dani won) so they decided to get engaged then after 6 months of dating. They had already started planning the wedding (booked a venue and date) and it was a nice weekend day the Ryan asked, “I have an idea, do you want to get engaged today?” so they went to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to get “officially” engaged.
The Wedding
Dani and Ryan wanted a simple combination of the two of them for their vision of the wedding. They wanted it to emphasize the marriage rather than going over the top with the day, and they wanted it to be more than just a ceremony and a dance. They kept the wedding rather low-key, with ceremony before brunch, lawn games, and a bunch of mingling inside and outside with everyone! They love to travel (and travel hacking which we bonded over haha) and had various travel items throughout their decor.
Our Services
When Dani and Ryan inquired with us they had almost all of their vendors booked, but they were interested in our coordination and content creation services. They were looking for someone to keep everything moving and organized the day of, and to keep tasks off of their plates and their families plates – they truly wanted everyone to enjoy the day without having to do anything!
With our wedding management package, we started working with them a few months out to create a timeline, solidify details with vendors, set up and tear down their personal decor, and overall make sure their day ran smoothly. They also added on content creation so I (Hanna) was there capturing all of their moments throughout the day! There was 4 of us from HME there throughout the day to be sure everything went off without a hitch 🙂
As a fellow swiftie and dog lover, we LOVED being a part of Dani & Ryan’s Nicollet Island Pavilion wedding and truly wish them so much love and happiness in their marriage!

“Hiring Hanna and her team was the best decision we made for our wedding day! We hired Hanna Marie Events as the Day Of Coordinator for our wedding and added on her content creation service as well. I can’t say enough good things about both services offered!
First, even though we waited towards the end of our planning, and booked just the day of coordination package, Hanna provided so many great resources for the remainder of our planning process.
In the months leading up to the wedding, we met with both Hanna and Brooke (one of her lead coordinators), together, multiple times to discuss details, decor, timelines etc. Hanna provided us with a handful of forms to complete to ensure her team had all the details for the day and to make sure expectations were aligned on both sides. I really appreciated the high attention to detail and the follow up communication is exactly what I needed to keep on track leading up to the big day.
On the day, I knew from our meetings that everything was taken care of; there is not price I could put on the peace of mind the team gave me that day! All our decor was set exactly as we planned, they executed the transition from ceremony to reception flawlessly and also handled tear down and packing cars at the end of the day. Most importantly, they kept the entire timeline of the day moving smoothly. It was so nice to just be able to enjoy our day. Our main goal in hiring a day of coordination team was to make sure our family and bridal party did not have to lift a finger, so they could completely enjoy the day too, and that is exactly what we got!
On the content creation side, Hanna was with us the entire day, capturing everything from the most important moments like first-looks and vows, to behind the scenes of taking pictures and getting ready and then everything in between. The videos themselves are priceless and we will cherish them forever.
Hanna was the incredibly professional but also fun as she offered ideas for extra video content and got the bridal party laughing. She was discreet when needed and very cognizant of our photographer’s angles as he worked to capture the day too.
Finally, the speed of delivery for the videos, edits and recap video is unmatched! I had all 46GB (!!!!) of content to me the next morning, and roughly 10 edited clips and a full recap video less than 48 hours later!
Working with Hanna and her team was a dream come true and I highly recommend her and her team to any couple looking for day of coordination or content creation for their wedding day.”
