Paige & Ryan had a beautiful North Garden Theater Wedding! These two truly made their wedding day their own and it was stunning.
The Engagement
Paige knew Ryan bought the ring and it was in the house, so she kept dropping hints wondering when it was going to happen. One Saturday, Paige got home from lunch with her mom and grandma and Ryan said, “Let’s get dressed up and go somewhere nice tonight.” At that point, Paige started to suspect what he was planning because they very rarely went out for fancy nights.
Ryan decided to go to Kincaid’s in downtown St. Paul for dinner, however, he did not make a reservation so no tables were available and they were seated in the bar area. After having a drink and an appetizer, Ryan said this is not what he had in mind, and that they should go somewhere else. He made a reservation for Salut and they headed there instead. As they were waiting for their dessert, Ryan said some lovely things like “you know that I love you so much and you’re my person and I’m so excited to marry you, right?” and then he got down on one knee!
The Venue
North Garden Theater, located in St Paul, Minnesota, is a historic venue that has been updated to provide a unique and elegant setting for weddings. The theater features 20-foot wood plank ceilings and historic cast iron trusses that make for a gorgeous backdrop! The theater can accommodate up to 150 guests, so it is best suited for smaller guest counts for a more intimate wedding!
The Wedding
Paige & Ryan wanted the vibe of their day to be upbeat and joyous, and wanted to forgo most of the traditional aspects of a wedding so they went with a more unique venue! They went with jewel tones for their color pallet, with Paige in a gold sequin dress (just wait till you see photos of the dress!). They also went with emerald green and blue linens, with gold accents on the tables including a variety of candles. The venue came with cafe lighting, chandeliers and uplighting so adding the jewel tones and candles truly made the space even more stunning & inviting!
Our Services
Paige is a planner at heart and knew she would be just fine planning all the details of the day, but wanted some help the last few months. She wanted someone who was organized, good at communication, could be flexible, but also firm. Paige & Ryan went with our wedding management package for their North Garden Theater wedding where we stepped in the last few months to create a timeline, be the point of contact for vendors, and help finalize all of the details. On the day of the wedding we set up and tore down their personal decor, oversaw all the vendors, and made sure all the details of their wedding were perfect.
We LOVED being part of their gorgeous day – and we will NEVER get over Paige’s gold wedding dress! Congrats you two!!!
